Picket lines are a very effective and necessary means by which to call attention to contractors that are employing non-union personnel to do work, or are otherwise not treating our members according to the rules of our work agreements. Pickets will continue to be set up as needed. We thank all members who have manned a picket line, and are always looking for people to volunteer their time to man the next one.

A picket line has been set up at the Liberty Park Highrise in East Liberty against Phase 1 Environmental, a non-union abatement company. The general contractor on site is Titan.
