Demolition work at the old Nabisco Plant. This was an " Erect Fund " project, which is a loan to the developer from our pension fund. Noralco Corp. did the building demo and Bristol handled the abatement. There were about 40 Local 373 members working on site. The old plant is now a combination commercial, residential and retail site.
The West General Robinson Street Option Area Parking Garage is an ERECT Fund job with a Project Labor Agreement in place. ERECT provides a substantial loan to the developer from the pension funds of the labor unions.
